Refund Policy

1. Introduction

The World Leadership and Policy Institute ("WLPI," "we," "our," or "us") refers to Nexus Prime Group LLC, a legally registered company operating through and under the World Leadership and Policy Institute brand. World Leadership and Policy Institute (WLPI) is a trade name managed by Nexus Prime Group LLC and does not constitute a separate legal entity. All services, transactions, and payment processing are conducted by Nexus Prime Group LLC under the WLPI brand.

At the World Leadership and Policy Institute (WLPI), we are committed to delivering high-quality global programs, leadership initiatives, and policy engagement opportunities. Due to the nature of our services—where administrative, operational, and logistical efforts begin immediately upon application or registration—this Refund Policy defines strict terms governing payments and refunds.

By making any payment to WLPI, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy in full.

2. General Refund Principle

All payments made to WLPI are considered final, non-refundable, and non-transferable, except where explicitly stated otherwise within this policy.

This approach reflects industry standards for event-based and application-based services, where administrative costs are incurred immediately upon payment and cannot be recovered.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:

Application processing fees; Official invitation letter fees; Administrative and service charges; Discounted or promotional registrations; Partial payments or installment payments.

These fees cover immediate operational work, including application review, documentation processing, and administrative handling, and are therefore non-recoverable once paid.

4. Programs & Participation Categories

Fully Funded / Partially Funded Applicants

Application and processing fees are strictly non-refundable. Non-selection does not qualify for a refund. Visa rejection, delays, or inability to travel do not qualify for a refund.

Invitation Letter Services

Fees for official invitation letters are strictly non-refundable once issued. The issuance of an invitation letter constitutes completion of the service. WLPI is not responsible for visa outcomes.

Self-Funded Participants

Full participation fees are non-refundable unless explicitly approved under exceptional conditions. Discounted registrations are strictly non-refundable.

5. Credit Voucher Policy (If Applicable)

In limited cases, WLPI may, at its sole discretion, issue a credit voucher instead of a refund. This is not guaranteed and is subject to internal approval.

Where issued: Credit vouchers are valid for future WLPI programs only; They are non-transferable and cannot be converted into cash; They may be subject to expiration dates and usage conditions.

This approach aligns with industry practices where refunds are replaced with future credits rather than cash reimbursements.

6. Cancellation by Participant

If a participant chooses to cancel their participation: No refunds will be issued; no transfers to another individual are permitted; no transfer to future events is guaranteed.

Failure to attend an event ("no-show") will result in 100% forfeiture of fees paid.

7. Visa, Travel & External Factors

WLPI shall not be held responsible for any issues arising from: Visa rejection or delays; Embassy or consulate decisions; Travel restrictions or cancellations; Personal circumstances; Health-related issues.

All such risks are borne solely by the participant, and no refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

8. Event Changes, Postponement & Force Majeure

WLPI reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, or convert events into virtual formats due to operational or external factors.

In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to: Natural disasters, Political instability, Pandemics, Government restrictions.

WLPI shall not be liable for any losses incurred, and no refunds will be issued. Alternative arrangements (such as rescheduling or virtual participation) may be provided at WLPI’s discretion.

9. Refund Processing (If Approved Exceptionally)

In rare cases where WLPI approves a refund: Refunds may be issued via the original payment method or as credit; processing times may vary depending on payment providers.

WLPI is not responsible for bank fees, exchange rate differences, or transaction charges.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By making a payment to WLPI, you agree not to initiate unauthorized chargebacks or disputes and to contact WLPI directly for resolution before escalating.

WLPI reserves the right to contest all chargebacks with supporting documentation, suspend or permanently ban users initiating fraudulent disputes, and take legal action where necessary.

11. Fraud, Misuse & Policy Abuse

WLPI reserves the right to deny any refund or credit request if false or misleading information was provided, there is evidence of fraud or abuse, or the request violates WLPI Terms & Conditions.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: WLPI shall not be liable for any financial loss, indirect damages, or consequential damages.

WLPI’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user. All payments are made at the participant’s own risk.

13. Policy Updates

WLPI reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted on wlpi.org, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
